# Projects

> Create projects, manage project members, and bind integrations at the project level

Projects are the unit everything else hangs off: integrations bind to projects, documents and conversations are scoped to projects, and every question you ask the assistant is answered in the context of the project you pick.

<Note>
  Your org can rename "Projects" (many teams use "Jobs") — the pages and menus follow whatever label your admin chose.
</Note>

## Create a project

On the **Projects** page, click **New Project**, give it a name and an optional description, and create it. Projects can later be edited inline or archived.

## Project members

Each project card has a **Members** tab:

* Add org members to the project with a project role of **Lead** or **Member**.
* Org owners and admins always have access to every project, as do members granted **All Projects**.

## Bind integrations

The **Integrations** tab on each project card is where connected tools get wired to this project — a Procore project, Slack channels, Box folders, mail labels. Pick the **Connection**, choose the **External resource** from the picker, and click **Bind integration**. After saving you're offered a **Sync now**.

<Warning>
  A connected integration with no binding delivers nothing — binding is what tells Brink which external data belongs to this project. See the [integrations overview](/integrations/overview).
</Warning>

## Switch the active project

The sidebar account menu → **Change Project** sets your working context — **All Projects** or a single one. The assistant, documents, and daily views follow your selection.
