Sync Microsoft 365 meetings for call briefs and scheduling context
Outlook Calendar gives Brink your Microsoft 365 meeting context — titles, times, attendees and locations — which is what fills the Daily page and powers call briefs.Who can connect: any member, for their own calendar; owners and admins for an organization connection bound to a project.
Outlook Calendar connects with work or school accounts (Microsoft 365).
Personal outlook.com calendars aren’t supported.

Authorize with Microsoft
Approve read-only calendar access (Calendars.Read) and your basic profile (User.Read). Brink can read events but never create, edit, or cancel them.

Bind calendars (organization connections)
On the Projects page, open the project’s Integrations tab and bind the calendar. If you leave the resource blank, the binding uses the account’s primary calendar. A binding is still required — an organization connection with no binding delivers nothing.

A personal calendar connection is private to you and isn’t bound to a
project — it feeds your own Daily page and your own assistant.
Calendar events on a rolling window — 30 days back and 60 days forward — re-read on every sync, so reschedules and newly added meetings are picked up. Recurring meetings arrive as their individual occurrences, each with title, time, attendees and location.
Meeting times are stored as exact instants and displayed in your browser’s timezone. All-day events are treated as dates rather than instants, so they never shift a day across timezones.
This is separate from a project’s site timezone, which is set on the
project and decides what counts as a jobsite day for daily logs, schedule and
digests. Calendars are always shown in your own timezone.
Calendars are treated as private providers: a personally connected calendar is visible only to you, and calendar data never defaults to organization-wide visibility — if Brink can’t tell whose calendar it is, it’s held unreadable instead.
Microsoft provides no way for Brink to revoke its own access. Disconnecting deletes Brink’s stored credentials; to remove Brink’s access completely, also remove the Brink app from your Microsoft account’s app permissions, or have a Microsoft 365 administrator remove it in Entra ID.
Because the window is rolling, a meeting cancelled more than 30 days in the past may linger in Brink. It has no effect on answers about current work.
